Georgia, Ukraine, and Poland are the last nations to secure their spots at Europe’s premier international football competition, completing the lineup for the highly anticipated event in Germany.

Georgia has made history by qualifying for their first-ever major international tournament, UEFA Euro 2024. In a dramatic play-off final against Greece, Georgia defied expectations. The match concluded goalless after 120 minutes of intense play, leading to a nerve-wracking penalty shootout. Georgia emerged victorious 4-2 on penalties, sparking jubilant scenes as they booked their ticket to Germany.

Making their debut on the Euro stage, Georgia will compete in Group F. They face a challenging group alongside Turkey, Portugal, and the Czech Republic, promising exciting matchups for fans worldwide.

Poland also secured their place at Euro 2024 via a penalty shootout victory. Their play-off final against Wales mirrored Georgia’s game, ending 0-0 after extra time. In another tense penalty shootout, Poland prevailed 5-4, ensuring their fifth appearance at the European Championship.

Poland finds themselves in a formidable Group D for Euro 2024. They are set to battle it out against strong contenders including the Netherlands, France, and Austria, setting the stage for a compelling group phase.

Ukraine, unlike Georgia and Poland, secured their qualification with a victory in regular time. They overcame Iceland 2-1 in their play-off final. Goals from Viktor Tsygankov and Mykhailo Mudryk sealed the win for Ukraine, avoiding the lottery of a penalty shootout.
