Euro Automatic Cash Enhances ATM Network with TNS Managed Connectivity

Euro Automatic Cash (EAC), a key player in the European ATM market and backed by financial giants Grupo Santander and Euro Information-Credit Mutuel/CIC, has announced a strategic partnership with Transaction Network Services (TNS). This collaboration aims to revolutionize the connectivity of EAC’s extensive network of ATMs through TNS’s advanced managed connectivity solutions.

By leveraging TNSLink for Unattended, a specialized solution designed for unattended devices, EAC has successfully migrated 1,500 of its ATMs to a more robust and reliable network infrastructure. TNSLink offers wireless access via Global Wireless Access SIM cards, ensuring seamless transaction routing across TNS’s secure, Level 1 PCI DSS certified private network. This migration marks a significant step forward in EAC’s commitment to maximizing ATM uptime and enhancing service reliability for its customers across Spain.

José Rincón, Managing Director of EAC, emphasized the critical nature of ATM availability in today’s financial landscape. “Our selection of TNS followed a rigorous evaluation process focused on identifying a partner who truly understands our connectivity needs,” Rincón stated. “TNS demonstrated a clear appreciation for the importance we place on ATM availability. The combination of TNS’s proactive 24/7/365 monitoring and the responsive support from their Spain-based team provides a distinct advantage and substantial value to EAC. Since implementing TNS’s solution, we have observed tangible improvements in both the reliability and operational uptime of our ATM network, consistently meeting and exceeding our objectives for estate availability.”

Agustín García Pérez, Sales Territory Director for Spain and Portugal within TNS’s Payments Market division, highlighted TNS’s established expertise in the ATM sector. “TNS is a recognized and trusted provider of connectivity solutions to leading ATM deployers throughout Europe,” Pérez commented. “Our strength lies in delivering secure and dependable managed connectivity that is essential for mission-critical transactions. This aligns perfectly with EAC’s unwavering focus on ensuring their ATMs are consistently accessible whenever customers need them. We are thrilled to contribute to EAC’s mission by facilitating high-availability ATM services across diverse locations in Spain.”

This partnership underscores the growing importance of reliable and secure connectivity in the operation of euro automatic cash machines. By choosing TNS, Euro Automatic Cash is investing in a future-proof solution that prioritizes ATM performance and customer satisfaction. The move is expected to set a new benchmark for ATM network management within the European financial sector, emphasizing the critical role of specialized connectivity in maintaining optimal ATM functionality and availability.
