San Jose Set to Host Epic Euro Copa America Viewing Parties

San Jose is gearing up to be the ultimate destination for soccer enthusiasts this summer, as the city, in collaboration with the San Jose Earthquakes and the San Jose Sports Authority, announces a series of viewing parties for every matchday of the highly anticipated 2024 Copa América and UEFA EURO 2024 tournaments. This initiative underscores San Jose’s growing prominence in the soccer world, especially as it approaches its role as a key city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

For fans eager to immerse themselves in the electric atmosphere of international soccer, San Jose offers a unique opportunity to experience both the Euro and Copa America tournaments. Starting with the UEFA EURO 2024 on Friday, June 14, and Copa América on Thursday, June 20, and continuing until the finals of both tournaments on Sunday, July 14, there will be non-stop soccer action. Viewing parties will be held at prime locations across the city, ensuring that fans can come together to cheer on their favorite teams.

Two main venues, The Old Wagon Saloon & Grill and O’Flaherty’s Irish Pub, both situated on the pedestrian-friendly N. San Pedro Street, will host viewing parties for all matches kicking off at 9 a.m. PT or later. These established spots promise a lively atmosphere for enjoying the games. Adding to the city-wide soccer celebrations, the Mexican Heritage Plaza will host a special big-screen outdoor viewing party on Wednesday, June 26, for the highly anticipated México vs. Venezuela Copa América match. Furthermore, PayPal Park, the home of the San Jose Earthquakes, will provide the ultimate venues for the final matches of both tournaments, promising thrilling conclusions to the summer of soccer.
