The European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2024 took place between March and November 2023, determining the majority of the participating teams. The play-offs to decide the final spots were held on March 21 and 26, 2024.
Germany, as the host nation, automatically qualified for UEFA EURO 2024. They were joined by 20 other teams that successfully navigated the Euro qualifying matches group stage. The draw for the final tournament groups was held in Hamburg on Saturday, December 2, 2023, resulting in the following groups:
Group A: Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Switzerland
Group B: Spain, Croatia, Italy, Albania
Group C: Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, England
Group D: Poland, Netherlands, Austria, France
Group E: Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine
Group F: Turkey, Georgia, Portugal, Czech Republic
The final three spots for the tournament were decided through play-off matches in March 2024.
