For those new to the Pokémon TCG or video games, or casual players looking to improve their skills, the Play Lab and Battle Lab are must-visit destinations at EUIC. The Play Lab offers four engaging and modular experiences tailored for beginners: Poké Catch, Catch & Attack, 30-Card Demo Deck Battle, and Pokémon TCG Live Demo. These sessions are designed to accommodate varying time commitments and skill levels, ensuring every Trainer can find a suitable learning experience. For video game enthusiasts, the Battle Lab provides a space to learn fundamental Pokémon battle strategies and put your skills to the test. Participants in the Play Lab will receive a 30-card demo deck and a collectible pin (while supplies last). Battle Lab participants will also receive a special reward, details to be announced.

A diverse array of side events and spectator activities will be available throughout the EUIC weekend, offering fun for everyone. An official 2025 EUIC event badge is required to participate in side events. From unique gameplay formats to engaging challenges, there’s something for Trainers of all experience levels. For Pokémon TCG specialists, the Gym Leader Challenge offers a unique deck-building constraint, focusing on single Pokémon types and strategic card choices. Pokémon GO enthusiasts can participate in Pokémon GO scavenger hunts around the venue, a fun way to earn prize wall tickets while catching event-exclusive Pokémon like Carbink. Video game players can test their skills in the Malamar Cup, a quirky Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet VGC format played with upside-down Nintendo Switch consoles. Pokémon UNITE fans can team up in the Eevee Cup, drafting teams exclusively from Eevee evolutions on Aeos Island.

The Activity Zone offers a space to connect with fellow Trainers. Sign up for a trader table in the Collect & Trade area to showcase and trade your Pokémon cards and merchandise. Step back in time at the Pokémon Museum, featuring a timeline display of classic Pokémon video game titles and a retrospective on the history of the Europe International Championships.
